Every planet has a measurable rhythm, and Hans Cousto's method folds each orbital period up into a sounding pitch. The angles your planets held at birth — the harmonies and the tensions — become the structure of the music. We compute them from the same NASA ephemeris data used to navigate spacecraft, to hundredths of a degree.
The form is mathematics too: the piece turns on the golden ratio, descends through the brainwave frequencies of deep rest, and breathes at six breaths a minute — the pace shown to settle the nervous system. Even the spiral above is a true golden spiral.
